Nuke Em® is designed to enhance insect control while also allowing your plants to grow. Its unique composition also effectively controls various mildews and molds common in gardens.
DIRECTIONS
Mixing Rates:ormal Strength spray is 1 ounce Nuke Em® to 31 ounces of water.
Mix 1.5 ounces of Nuke Em® with 30.5 ounces of water to achieve increased strength.
Use 2 ounces of Nuke Em® and 30 ounces of water for a powerful combination.
General Leaf Application Directions:
Use the usual strength mix first; if necessary, progress to the next greater concentration.
To achieve complete control, you may need to apply it three times, with each treatment three days apart.
Use usual strength for cuttings and clones.
Professional growers should take note: In infestations, up to three administrations may be administered during a 24-hour period. Certain plants may benefit from a pH adjustment to 7 before spraying with diluted Nuke Em®. However, it is vital to emphasize that we presently do not have enough data to propose changing the product label. If you decide to experiment with adjusting diluted Nuke Em® to pH 7, test it on one plant before applying it to the entire crop.
Leaf insect and powdery mildew control:
Hydroponic cultivation requires water-based media and containers that drain fertilizer from the root zone while increasing cellular turgor in plant structures. Field-grown plants require no more watering.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before diluting it for spraying or dipping. When transferring from 30-gallon drums to smaller containers, ensure correct mixing.
When cultivating indoors, turn off primary illumination before applying treatments. Administer in low light and keep it dark until Nuke Em® has dried. (Nuke Em® is designed for pest control, not foliar feeding.)
For outdoor cultivation, apply to leaves and stems immediately before nightfall or during the coolest part of the day with dense cloud cover.
Root Aphid Control for Soil Growers:
Prepare enough Nuke Em® solution to completely saturate the growth medium.
Mix Nuke Em® at the normal concentration of 1 ounce per 31 ounces water. Match the pH of the diluted Nuke Em® to the target pH of your soil. If preliminary tests indicate continuing root aphid activity, increase the concentration.
Turn the lights off and utilize only supplemental illumination for visibility. It is best to initiate treatment at the start of the light-off cycle.
The Nuke Em® solution should be carefully poured into the soil. Concentrate on the base of the stem, as this area frequently harbors many root aphids, especially in a sheltered outdoor location where they may avoid rain or runoff. Take your time to achieve complete saturation, spreading out to cover the entire soil area.
Nuke Em® should remain in contact with the root aphids for at least 1 hour. Consider prolonging the treatment duration if your plant type can endure longer periods of exposure. Before you turn on the lights again, thoroughly rinse the growing media.
Pro Growers' Note: Experiments are under conducted to determine if Nuke Em® requires soil rinse and to discover the best contact duration for various plants. We will release the findings of this investigation as soon as they are conclusive. Large-scale academic investigations are expected to provide definitive findings in the future. When considering an independent trial of not washing Nuke Em® from your soil, it is best to undertake this experiment on a single plant before applying it uniformly. Flying Skull would be grateful for your feedback on your findings.
Root Aphid Control for Hydroponic Growers:
Prepare a Nuke Em® solution by combining 2 ounces of Nuke Em® and 30 ounces of water to achieve a high concentration suited for fully saturated growth media and roots. Adjust the pH of the diluted Nuke Em® to match the desired pH of your nutrient solution.
Turn off the grow lights and use only little supplemental illumination for visibility, preferably at the start of the light-off cycle.
Carefully add the diluted Nuke Em® to the hydroponic growing medium. Concentrate on the area around the main stem, particularly beneath the surface, where Root Aphids tend to live. Saturate the growth medium completely, beginning with the stem and working your way out.
Maintain contact between Nuke Em® and Root Aphids for at least an hour; longer periods may be necessary depending on plant tolerance. Before using the therapy on the entire group, test it on a single plant. Rinse the Nuke Em® from the growing media, roots, and hydroponic system before refilling the tank and turning back on the lights.
This technique successfully targets root aphids while reducing environmental damage.
Begin by thoroughly draining the system and letting the plants drip dry to ensure they are nutrient-free.
Prepare a clean bucket and fill it with Nuke Em® diluted to standard strength, adjusting the pH to match your nutrient mixture.
Submerge the plant and its growing media in the bucket of diluted Nuke Em®, making sure that all roots and growing media are completely saturated.
After immersion, return the plant to the hydroponic system and let it sit for the recommended hour, preferably during the Lights OFF cycle.
Rinse the growing media, roots, and hydroponic system thoroughly with water before returning the nutrition solution and activating the grow lights.
After a minimum of one hour of contact in the root zone, residual residue from the primary Nuke Em® treatment, once rinsed, can be circulated throughout the hydroponic system to eradicate any potential threat from insects living within pipes and tubes. It is best to remove plants from the system during the flushing process to reduce the presence of root aphid larvae or adults in tubes, buckets, or tanks. Before turning on the main lighting, the system must be completely flushed to ensure that any deceased adults, juveniles, or larvae are removed from the hydroponic setup.
Powdery Mildew:
To effectively remove Powdery Mildew, apply Nuke Em® three times. To achieve the best outcomes, ensure that all Powdery Mildew cases receive consistent therapy.
Apply Nuke Em® to outdoor plants monthly to prevent Powdery Mildew. To effectively manage mold, dilute 2 ounces of Nuke Em® concentrate per gallon of water. Apply soon after a shower or during periods of high humidity when water droplets form on the foliage.
In hydroponic systems, Flying Skull Z7 should be used in addition to Nuke Em®.Use Flying Skull Z7 Hydro System Cleanser after every tank change and every 4-5 days for systems with recirculating nutrients, such as flood and drain, NFT, or Deep Water Culture setups.
MODIFIED Application for Broad Mites:
Nuke Em® has shown success in fighting Broad mites; however, these hardy pests require extensive coverage for effective treatment. In infestations, three applications of Nuke Em® are suggested, applied sequentially under particular conditions:
Day One: Administer the initial application at full power with the lights turned off. Allow it to completely dry before reapplying at maximum power. Repeat the technique for the third application, ensuring that each layer dries completely between sprays.
Day Three: Apply one full-strength application of Nuke Em®.
Day Six: Apply another dose of Nuke Em® at full intensity. After it has dried, lightly spritz the plants with Z7 and let them dry as well.
