- Keep out moisture and air to preserve flavor and get rid of odors.
- Flexible and reusable.
- Practical and Adaptable.
Guidelines:
1. Stuff the sack full of stuff.
2. Place the bag into the NatureVac sealer (or similar device), being careful to align the opening of the bag with the vacuum channel (if the opening of the bag is not entirely inside the channel, no suction action will take place).
3. To get started, press START or AUTO. Pressing the SEAL button will stop the vacuum activity and start sealing the bag once the desired amount of air has been evacuated. Alternatively, you can wait for the machine to automatically start sealing the bag once all the air has been evacuated.
Foods that have been stored can either be microwaved immediately after being punctured or heated to a boiling point inside the bag.
Before reheating cooked food or defrosting food in the microwave, make a tiny incision in the vacuum bag. Keep an eye on the vacuum bag while cooking on the burner. To prevent the vacuum bag from coming into contact with the pot's sides or bottom, make sure there is at least one inch of water surrounding the bag. Made of US FDA-approved food-grade materials, it has no BPA (Bisphenol A). Observe US food safety regulations. After using the vacuum bag with raw meats, greasy meals, or shellfish, do not reuse it. After boiling, steaming, or microwaving, vacuum bags should not be reused. Avoid using the vacuum bags in the broiler or oven.
