It has an exterior temperature sensor that senses when the temperature reaches its maximum and turns off the lights automatically. Additionally, the Stage 3 allows you to program a cool-down period for HID bulbs in case of a power interruption, preventing potential damage to the bulbs. To manage power surges and high in-rush currents, the device has a preset 30-second delay between activating the two lighting outputs. It also includes an internal clock with a backup battery to maintain accurate timing during power outages. The recycling timer on the Stage 3 manages one of the four outputs, making it ideal for devices that operate on a repeating schedule. This timer can be programmed for Daytime, Nighttime, or 24-hour operation and can be configured to either halt or continue timer programs during a power interruption.
